That is what originally led me to purchase a Charles Daly Diamond III shotgun... the ones that CDNN currently is selling for under $700.00, though I purchased mine for slightly less ...I am looking into purchasing a over/under Charles Daly shotgun for sporting clays. It is a Field III that was made in Italy. Reason why I am asking about it's value and if it's a good gun is because of the price. He's asking $425.00. The Japanese made over and under Charles Daly's were, I believe, made by Mirkoku,,,before Browning took over Miroku's importation of basically the same gun. The gun was the Citori. The man Charles Daly started importing guns from Europe in 1865. Some of the companies that made guns for CD were the best that Europe had to offer. Guns made by Sauer and Linder with the CD name on them command as much as $20,000.
